May favourites 2015

Hi Guys!!!!

I can't believe that it is the end of may already, this year is going so fast!! So now its time for a monthly favourite post!!

Make up

I have recently been loving the 'seventeen phwoarr paint under eye concealer', as it is great for covering up dark circles underneath your eyes and doesn't crease. I have been applying this with my ' real techniques base shadow brush' as it does a really good job in buffing it in. I also us this brush to apply the rest of my concealer as I feel it really does an amazing job at buffing it in.

I have also been loving my 'real techniques cheek brush' I use this to apply my powder, and I think that it does a really good job as it doesn't pick up too much and evenly apply's the powder across my face.

For my lips I have been loving my ' Rimmel London vinyl gloss in 130 take a chance'
Not only does it remind me of Mamma Mia, I love this colour as it is such a natural colour and it leaves your lips looking shiny. It doesn't leave your lips stick nor does it leave your lips feeling glupy.

Youtube

Over May I have fell in love with Hannah Maggs Vlogs!! Herself and her husband Stef upload every sunday and their videos are normally about 30 minutes long, and are filled with silky montages and songs by musicians that aren't massive. I love the quality of their vlogs, and they seem to be just great people! I would defiantly recommend them to EVERYBODY!

Movies

The other week I watched Les Miserables for the first time and OMG it is amazing. My favourite song has got to be Master Of The House as I love Helena Bonham Cater who plays Madame Thenardier. I find that character so funny. The great thing about Les Miserables is that not only is it a great musical it teaches you about the French revolution which it is based on. Now I really want to go and see it in London, at the west end!

Jewellery

I'm not really a chocker kind of girl, but I have fell in love with this dainty pink beaded chocker, I love how the light catches on it because of the light and it doesn't stand out on your neck. It goes with everything and I feel as if I have wore this for the entire month. You don't actually notice that it is on your neck but I love it!

So I hope that everyone who was on half term had a great week! Please feel free to leave a comment or tweet me @unicorngirl945

S club 7 tour 2015

Hi guys!!

So last Saturday I went and saw S club's bring it all back tour, and if I'm honest it was one of the most energetic concerts I have every been to. It really felt as if you were back in the late nineties/early 2000's.

Background:

S club have been around since 1998, and consist of 7 members: Jon Lee, Tina BarrettPaul CattermoleRachel StevensJo O'MearaHannah Spearritt and Bradley McIntosh. They did break up in 2003, but have always stayed in contact with each other. Their best known song is most likely reach, as its such an uplifting beat.

The concert:

This concert was one of the best ones I've ever been to as everyone was always out of their seats dancing, it was amazing!

Set List:

Bring The House Down
S Club Party
You're My Number One
Two In A Million
Alive
Stronger (solo from Tina)
Reach (acoustic by Paul)
Straight Up (solo from Hannah)
Hello Friend (duet from Jo and Jon)
Natural
Have You Ever
You
DJ Set (mixes of S club songs)
Some Girls/Sweet Dreams My LA Ex (Rachel solo)
Viva La Fiesta
Bring It All Back
Uptown Funk
Say Goodbye
Reach
Never Had A Dream Come True
Don't Stop Movin'

Reach has got to be my favourite song as it reminds me of when I was little as I LOVE this song.

At the every end (during don't stop movin') everyone was up on the floor dancing it was so much fun!!

So I hoped you enjoyed this post!

The Vamps 2015 *SPOILERS*

Hi Guys!!

So on the 4th of may I went and say The Vamps live, and they were amazing. They were so much better than I expected. So I though you guys might like to hear about it;

Background into The Vamps:

The Vamps are a boy band and the members are Brad Simpson, Connor Ball, Tristan Evans and James Mcvey. They were brought to fame through Youtube with their amazing covers of songs like that girl by Mcfly. Their debut single was can we dance. They have released their first album 'meet the vamps' and are releasing their next album in late November.

Onto the concert:

Luke Friend, The Tide and Union J were the opening acts, and to be honest I think that Union J were the only good ones as Luke friend and The Tide were a bit rubbish. They sang a slowed down version of carry you and it was so beautiful.

The set list:

Wild Heart
Hurricanes
Somebody To You
Uptown Funk/ Seven Nation Army/ Shake It Off/ We Can't Stop
Last Night
Move My Way
In Too Deep (Sum 41 cover)
Teenagers (My chemical Romance cover)
Another World
Lovestruck
Girls On TV
Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)
Risk It All
Can We Dance

Before the The Vamps came on they put on the screen that they were letting one lucky person fro the crowd go on stage with them (Just to get a picture and ask a question), all you had to do was tweet them your row, block, seat, name, what city you were in along with #onstagewiththevamps. Sadly I didn't win :(
My favourite song was wild heart as it was the first song and it got everyone exited for the next performances.

I would defiantly LOVE to go and see them again!

So I hoped you liked this post. Please feel free to leave a comment or tweet me @unicorngirl945.

April Favourites 2015!!

Hi guys,

As it is coming to the end of April I thought that it would be a good idea to share a few of my favourites from this month :)

 Makeup:

I only have two make up favourites this month as I haven't had the chance to try out new products.
The first one is the 'Barry M natural glow shadow and blush palette' (which you might of seen in one of my recent posts). I have been loving this as I feel as if the colours are very spring colours. The colours are so beautiful my favourite one has got to be the fifth one from the left as you can create a nice smoky eye which fits into the season.
The second one is the 'soap & glory thick and fast mascara'.This mascara creates volume without having to apply too much. Also it spreads your lashes apart, so that they are not stuck together. I'm not really a fan of soap & glory make up products but this mascara is amazing!

Fragrance:

The Brittany spears midnight fantasy has been my favourite perfume for a number of years. I have tried to branch away from it but I find that I'm always drawn back into it. My friends say that the smell reminds them of me. I would't recommend this if you don't really like sweet smells as its very sweet. But I would advise you to go and have a smell as I never liked sweet smells until this came into my life.

Hair:

Tangle teezers; where can I start. These are a life saver for me as my hair gets really knotty and unmanageable but these help me so much. I have two, the original one (in pink) and the compact one(in purple). I keep the Pink one at home and the purple is in my bag 24/7. I am just obsessed with them! My next favourite is the COLAB dry shampoo in the fragrance london. Recently, when I wake up on a morning and don't have enough time to wash my hair as its greasy, I spray some of this and then brush it through with my pink tangle teezer, and like magic my hair looks like it has just been washed. It also adds a lot of volume into my hair which is amazing as I suffer with flat, lifeless hair.

Random:

I thought that I should also share a few of my other favourites of this month, just in case your not really into make up.

Tv shows:

Recently, I have been obsessed with a tv show called Arrow. Without spoiling any of it, Its basically about a 'playboy billionaire' Oliver Queen who gets stranded on an island for 5 years and when he returns to his home town, nobody knows what has happened to him. He then decides to become 'Arrow' and put right all the wrongs which his city (starling) has faced. Its stars Stephen Amell (who I love) Emily Bett Rickards, Willa Holland an many others. I would definitely  recommend this even if you don't like things like marvel ect.

Music:

All I listen too, non stop is velvetgh0st' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eExLxoXB1rE) cover of 'love me like you do' with Hobbie Stuart. I'm not really a big fan of the original song, but wow with Gabby's and Hobbies voices I'm just drawn in. Who knew Gabby could sing that good! And they mashed it up with thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran which is one of my all time favourite songs. I would of never of thought that these two songs would sound so perfect together! I would definitely recommend that you go and take a listen as you wont regret it. They way that they look at each other is just so cute!!

Right well I hope you have enjoyed my first favourites post, and I assure you that there will be many more to come in the future.
