Christmas Games

Hey guys!

During the festive season, lots of families join together and play games. So here are a few games that me and my family play every year!!

 Uno - this game is a game that the whole family can play as it's quite simple once you learn the rules. It's a good game to bond the family together as they are all sat around a table together.

Sticky Note Game - I don't actually know the name of this game but it is basically when you write something on a post it note like 'dog' or 'candy cane' and place it on the persons head so that they can't see what they are. Then they have to ask questions to guess what they are but the other players can only answer with yes or no. This game can go on for hours and hours and it's so fun, as it can be a game for all ages!

Cards - There are so many card games you can play, it really depends on what your family like to play. Personally I like to play snap and 3's & 4's. In the comments please leave some card games you might recommend!

Favourite Christmas movies

Hey guys 

As its December it's time for a few Christmas themed posts, and the first one is my favourite movies!

Elf - This is just a classic when it comes to Christmas movies!

Home alone - Everybody loves home alone movies and they just put you in such a Christmas spirit 

Arthur Christmas - I could watch this movie all year long 

A Muppets Christmas carol- I love the muppets and I love a Christmas carol so I was over the moon when this movie came out

New Buys - HAUL!

Hey Guys

So recently I went shopping, and thought I should share what I got :)


First, I went into Primark. I love Primark as you can always find super cheap bargains, which is good when you don't have a lot of money. I first picked up a super soft Christmas blanket, I always go to Primark to get my blankets as I love them. Its such a nice Christmassy print with polar bears and it was only £5. Then I got a pink heart compact mirror, as I lost my last one. I always carry a mirror around as I am always checking my hair or make up. It is a normal mirror on one side and a zoomed in other other side. The great thing about this mirror is that the outside is rubberised so it doesn't break if you drop it. It was only £1

Next I went to lush, and OMG I had completely forgot how much I love it. They have all of their Christmas range out, and I was so excited. I'm actually quite proud of myself that I didn't spend all of my money in there. I bought a fairy wand bubble bar which was £5.25, this is my all time favourite scent from lush, as its so sweet. This year they have added more silver glitter to it, and I love glittery baths.

Then I went to superdrug and stocked up on dry shampoo, These are my two favourite scents that batiste make, leave in the comments which ones you like! These were only £2.99 each. Dry shampoo is one of those things that I will always have in my room as its so useful, especially when you have long hair .

Finally, I went to Waterstones and picked up Tanya Burrs book. I have wanted this since before it came out so I was so excited when I actually caved in and bought it! I have read some of this and I love it, tell me in the comments if you have it and what you think of it.

Empty Products

Hey guys!

Recently, I have been tiding my draws out and came across a lot of empty products, so I thought I should share a few of them :)

The first thing I found was my Colab  dry shampoo in 'new york'. OMG I completely forgot how much I loved this product, it smelt so amazing and was refreshing.

Charlie has got to be one of my favourite brands of body spray, my favourite ones are the red and the black. Leave in the comments what your favourite brand of body spray is.

 I think that I have some addiction to keeping perfume bottles as I have loads of them!

Music favourites

Hey guys 

So recently I've been listening to loads of songs and getting a lot of new favourites. So I thought I should share a few of my new favourites :)

Adele - Hello

Wow, this song is just amazing. I'm so glad Adele came back with such an amazing song. I am in love with this song and completely recommend this to everyone!

One direction - Act my age

As you may of known from my previous post I went and saw one direction live in concert and this was my most favourite song live.

Little mix - love me like you

I have loved little mix from when they were on xfactor years ago and every time they bring out a new song I get very excited. Not only am I obsessed of the song I also love the music video. They look so pretty in the music video and their dresses are lush!

Sam Smith - Writings on the wall

As I am a MASSIVE fan of James Bond I always get very exited when they bring out the new theme song. I saw spectre in the cinemas the other day and this song fit in really well with the title sequence.

Panic at the disco - This is gospel

My friend actually got me into panic by showing me the piano version of this song and it was so beautiful, so I decided to listen to the original version and I really like it. I don't really like the rest of panic's songs but I'm sure I will get into them!

One Direction OTRA Tour

Hey Guys 

On the 27th of October I went to see One Direction live in Newcastle. I have got to say that it was one of the best concerts I have been to (other than Mcbusted!)

The atmosphere was incredible. They completely owned the stage. One direction are probably one of the best when it comes to entertaining the crowd as they are constantly talking to the crowd. This was my 3rd time seeing one direction live and they just get better and better. from the concert I bought a wristband, a programme, a flag and a poster and it only cost £30. That is quite cheap when it comes to one direction merchandise.

The stage was really good it came out, like a catwalk and they were constantly on it talking to the crowd.

Favourite Horror Movies

Hi Guys

So now that its nearly Halloween, everyone starts to watch horror movies. I love the adrenaline rush you get when watching horror movies, even though they freak me out I love them.

The Scream Franchise:

Scream is a classic when it come to scary movies. I love horrors that have a psychopath in them. There are 4 movies in this franchise and I love them all.

Final Destination Franchise:

Final destination has got to be one of my all time favourite movie series! I love how they 'cheat death' but because of that something is out to kill them.


Carrie:

I haven't seen the original one, but I've seen the one that came out in 2013. Carrie basically gets bullied by a nasty group of girls and at prom they send her over the edge. As Carrie has powers she attacks everyone and kills them all.  This movies actually made me laugh more than it did scare me.

What's on my iPhone?

Hey Guys!!

So as an early birthday present I was kindly given an iPhone 6 in space grey. This is my first ever iPhone so I was super excited to be getting one, as soon as I found out I was getting it I went on search for the best phone case and found a black case with a mean girls quote in gold glitter saying 'You can't sit with us.' and I fell in love so I had to get it.   

So anyway let's get onto what this post is all about, what's on my phone. 

As my lock screen I have a song lyric taken from my all time favourite song 'All about you' by mcfly. Not only do I like the song I also like the background of the sea as it looks really pretty. With lock screens I normally like to put a song lyric or a quote as it's the first thing I would see on a morning and it will cheer me up.

I like to keep my phone organised and everything on one page, so I decided to colour code all of my apps as I think it makes your phone look nice and organised. But because some apps have to be difficult and won't match I have placed them on the bottom. Happy wheels and the Kim k game are two of my all time favourite games, they are really good to pass the time or when you are bored. Instagram is basically my life,even though I don't really post much, I'm obsessed with it!! My Instagram is @abbie61100 if you wanna follow me on it.  My home screen picture is so pretty , as you may of noticed I have gone with a theme of nature. I love trees in the autumn as I love the leaves and the way they look. Leave in the comments below what your favourite season is :)

My first folder is filled with all of my red apps. Pinterest and YouTube are probably my favourite apps from this folder as I'm constantly on them both. My Pinterest is unicorn girl 2000 if you wanna take a look at my boards. 100 balls is another one of those apps to help pass the time but it's so addictive!! I don't really use the health app as I don't understand it really, and my Vodafone app is there to make sure I don't go over my limit and spend 100's on calls or Internet.

I don't really use the orange folder that much, I'll only use it if I need to use the calculator or a blog post idea comes to mind. 

The yellow folder is one of my favourites as not only is it one of my favourite emojis, it also has temple run and snapchat in it. When I went to Germany with my school, on the bus I was constantly on temple run as it's such a time waster as you will go on it and you get drawn in. Snapchat is so fun ever since they did the update and have all of the effects on it I could spend hours at a time taking pictures with them!!

The green folder has all of my apps like FaceTime, messages, calls and whatsapp. It also has the find my phone app. As you have to pay for Apple Music and I don't have any songs on my phone I use Spotify, but I can only use it when I'm connected to wifi as there are too many adds when your trying to listen to your favourite song! Pop the lock is a game that I've seen a lot of my friends play but I'm rubbish at it so I'm never really on it.

The blue folder is where one of my all time favourite apps is kept, want feed. It's a lot like Pinterest as you place your favourite things into folders but you can go on to buy them. I would deffinalty recommend it. I love looking at the blue folder as blue is my favourite colour and the whale emoji is just amazing.  The purple folder is the only one I don't use as I haven't paid for Apple Music and I haven't used iTunes or podcast. If you have any purple apps that would be good please leave suggestions in the comments.

From the grey folder I only use 3 of the apps, the camera one, the clock and the settings app. I don't own an Apple Watch  so I can't use that app and who really uses the stocks app? 

This folder is where I store all the apps which have white on it. I don't actually think I've used this folder yet but I'm sure it will come in handy some day. Really, I should put all of my friends birthdays in the Calendar  but I'm too lazy for that.

The rainbow folder is where I keep my muti coloured apps like photos, the Game Center and candy crush. I love candy crush it's such a nice/addictive game.

Favourite Kids TV Shows

Hey Guys,

Recently I've been thinking about the TV shows I use to watch when I was little, and I thought I should share a few of them.

Bob The Builder -

I was obsessed with Bob The Builder as a kid, I had Bob The Builder toys, bedding and even a watch! If you don't know what it is then where have you been, Its basically about a builder who has talking vehicles, and he goes around fixing things. Recently they have updated Bob and changed him completely, its quite upsetting because they will never sell any merchandise with the old bob on it any more  :(

Teletubbies -

 The Teletubbies lived in Teletubbyland and consists of : Tinky-Winky, Dispy, Laa Laa and Po. As a kid I was obsessed with Po, because Po was the best (obviously). Everyone at one point in their life has had a love for the teletubbies. I'm not sure if this was just a British thing or if they showed it around the world, so please tell me in the comments if you watched it.

64 Zoo Lane-

This show was on Cbeebies  at about 'bedtime' and it was about a young girl, Lucy, who wanted another bedtime story read to her after her parents had, so she would get her jungle friends, who lived next door, to help her fall asleep. Not only did this show encourage children to fall asleep it also showed that you could be friends with anyone.

Fireman Sam - 

This TV show followed the hero (fireman Sam) and his colleges save the people of PontyPandy. Fireman Sam taught children basic fire safety skills and also to always stay calm when there is an emergency. You could always count on fireman Sam and his friends to save the day.

Products I Can't Live Without

Hi Guys,

Now that I have gone back to school, I have got very lazy and don't use all of the products that I used during the six weeks. So I thought I should share a few of the products that I still use :)

Recently, I have discovered the Dove purely pampering hand cream, and I have fell in love. I have it in my bag 24/7 and I'm constantly using it. Vanilla has got to be one of my favourite scents so I'm constantly smelling my hands. It leaves your hands feeling so soft, what else could you ask for. I prefer this cream to the Soap & Glory Hand Food.

For my skin I have been using the No7 Beautiful skin cleansing lotion, which I mentioned in my August favourites. My skin is prone to break out when I go back to school, but this cleansing lotion has defiantly minimised the break outs and blemishes. This has got to be one of my favourite skin care products that I have owned.

Dry shampoo is your best friend when you go to school, as you don't always have time to wash your hair. It is also great for after PE to ouch up your hair if you have been sweating. As well as keeping hand cream in my bag I like to have this with me too. I have recently been loving the Batiste range but I also love the Colab range. What dry shampoo do you like to use?

Not only is dry shampoo your best friend so is powder. I have been using Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent Powder (as you may of seen in my back to school make up post) I keep this in my bag so I can touch up my face throughout the day, so I don't look shiny.
